Bathing lake Bensheim
The natural bathing lake with its 300 meters long sandy beach and park-like lawns is a delightful attraction for bathing friends from the near and far in the summer months. The water surface of the lake is about seven hectares in size, at the deepest point the lake measures 17 meters.
A so-called deep aerator continuously enriches the water in the lake with oxygen and thus contributes to the maintenance of the biological balance. The regular checks of the water quality confirm this.
Due to its central location on the Berliner Ring opposite the Weststadthalle, the lake can easily be reached by Bensheim citizens without a car. For those who have a little further to travel, there is plenty of parking available right near the lake.
