The Goldener Engel has been under family ownership for several generations. It’s a tradition of active hospitality which we are pleased to cultivate and develop further by adding contemporary, exclusive offers and services.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to continue this good family enterprise. Our everyday life is varied, challenging and always full of exciting work. It means that when our guests come to stay with us, they witness a good atmosphere with a human touch, as we are always attentive to their specific needs. We want you to have a great time with us and thoroughly enjoy your time in the Bergstrasse region.
We feel connected to our region and the people who live here. Nature and winegrowing are just as ubiquitous here as the hustle and bustle of the Rhine-Neckar Region. Heppenheim is a sociable place, but peace and quiet out in nature are only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Each generation in our family has written its history together with the Goldener Engel. Our path, too, is a personal path and connected with the hotel. Goldkind with its exquisite lounges and bedrooms saw the light of day in 2015. It’s based on an idea that involves lots of pleasant details to turn holiday accommodation into a special experience, particularly in the Spa Loft.
